The Hen Hustle is an annual Thanksgiving Day fun run in Waverly, Nebraska, bringing our community together for a morning of fun, fitness, and giving back! Hosted by CrownCo. and The Wave Athletics, this event offers a 5K run or 1-mile walk/run, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities. Whether you're looking to start your Thanksgiving with a little exercise, spend time with family and friends, or simply support a great cause, the Hen Hustle is the perfect way to kick off the holiday!
All proceeds from the event benefit the District 145 Backpack Program, which helps provide food to local students and families in need. Over the years, the Hen Hustle has made a lasting impact through generous donations, community partnerships, and the support of local businesses and participants.
This year, CrownCo. and The Wave Athletics are excited to carry on this beloved Waverly tradition and continue growing its impact in our community. Join us Thanksgiving morning as we come together to make a difference, one step at a time!
