About Dr. Sarah Rainey, DPT

Dr. Sarah Rainey grew up on a farm in the Bennet/Palmyra, Nebraska area and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee in 2009.

She began her career in California, where she spent five years in an outpatient setting and served as the on-field medical professional for high school football. After returning to her home state of Nebraska, Dr. Rainey worked as a Rehab Lead in the Lincoln community before pursuing her long-time dream of opening her own practice.

In 2020, she launched Invigorating Motion Physical Therapy, a mobile and gym-based practice serving the Ashland, Waverly and Lincoln communities. Dr. Rainey created her practice to bridge the gap between traditional rehabilitation and full return to fitness or sport. Her approach focuses on full-body movement assessments to identify weak links, pain points, or dysfunctions, helping clients restore movement quality, improve performance, and revive their quality of life. She is now located inside the Wave Fitness Club in Waverly, NE still proudly serving the surrounding communities.

Dr. Rainey’s passion for physical therapy stems from her own athletic background and a lifelong fascination with the human body. She is committed to providing the time, attention, and expertise every patient deserves to achieve the best possible outcomes.

She holds certifications in Dry Needling, SFMA, FMS, YBT, and FCS equipping her with advanced tools to optimize movement and performance for athletes and active individuals.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Rainey is a proud mother of two, Kaiden and Anabella. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
